Experience
Currently I'm employed full time as a Foster Care Case Manager/Social Worker for a Child Placing Agency. My past tutoring opportunities include; Tutor at Huntington Learning Center in Kingwood, Texas tutor Reading/Writing/Math for elementary-middle school students. Substitute Teacher-New Caney ISD encourage students in classes to work hard, use test taking strategies on tests and complete homework at home. The reason why I want to be a Tutor is to continue to encourage and enhance a child's confidence level and assist them in mastering their educational goals. With every student, it is all about establishing a relationship and working on the intervention plan. You first have to start out where the student is and then work on the plan on how we will make them master the learning content. As a Tutor, I always adjust my teaching style to meet the child's learning style. In my eyes, All students are special and capable of much success in their life. All students are LEADERS because they can be whatever they want to as long as they put their mind to it. Hobbies
My primary goal is helping all students succeed. All students need is love, support, and encouragement. My hobbies include; singing, swimming, reading, writing, and traveling. I also volunteer at charity organizations in the community in helping people in need. Learning is a foundation you have to continue to build on it. Every child have different learning styles and my first goal with a student is find out where they are and build the relationship first. After the repore if build then we work on a plan in addressing the academic need.
