When I moved here, five years ago, I thought I could use my good knowledge of the Italian language to teach it, but first I had to improve my English before starting to look for a job. When I realized I could make it, I start looking for what was needed to apply in schools as a mother tongue tutor and I discovered that, since I don’t have a degree, I couldn’t. Then I decided to look for it online and I’ve been called by MyPLT.com to teach for them. I started in January 2014 and, occasionally, I still do it. Last month I’ve been called by the Italian Cultural Center here in Houston to teach in their school. Now I am doing a private lesson to a 17 years old waiting for a adult class to be formed. I’m also improving my skills taking an AP Italiano course that will end on the 18th of next month.

Hobbies
My first interest since I was very young is reading. I started reading books that talked about the ancient people living in my country, their history and their evolution, then I passed from my country to other countries and I still do. All this knowledge was missing something: being in the places I was reading of. So, when I could, I went to see most of the places where, before the Italian population after the foreigner, has started their history. This brought me to almost all of the cities in Italy and some in Europe where history was tangible just looking at the streets.
